  1. Dear Mrs Yoills,
    :)
The ideas you and Miss McGeady make are great.

I have really enjoyed contacting you and your class throughout this year.

Do you think the video is good? I would say the video is great.

    Bye,

  2. @ Ashleigh,

Thank you so much for your high praise about our ideas! Miss McGeady and I really love teaching all of you!

Your VoiceThread is super-terrific! We left a few questions for all of you on the slides. We look forward to hearing your answers!

It has been a wonderful experience for us to comment to each other and meet each other via Skype.

We are all looking forward to Monday/Tuesday! :-) I wonder what you will bring to share!

    Your pal,

  4. @ Lachlan,

Thanks for getting back to us with an answer to Anais' question.

I have a question. In general, how old are the prep students? I'm guessing five years old.

    Thanks,
    Mrs. Yollis

P.S. It is Sunday afternoon here, so you must be at school, no?

  5. Dear Mrs Yollis' class,

Thank you for all your wonderful comments on our VoiceThread.

    Here are the answers....

@ Caleb, thanks for your comment about the basketball court. We’re not sure of the size. Sorry!

@ Gal, the climbing wall is very popular for students.

@ Mrs Yollis, good question but there is nothing really on the other side of the climbing wall. It is just a plain wall.

@ Mrs Yollis’ class, what is your name? We couldn’t hear it properly. The climbing wall is about 2 and a half metres tall.

@ Scarlet, there is usually only about 5 to 10 people at a time in the garden.

@ Gal, no, people do not lie on the bench because it is just a seat to sit on.

@ Ben, the school might have a soccer team but it would only be for Grades 5 and 6. Not Grade Twos like us!

    From your friends in 2KM

PS - we can't wait to talk to you tomorrow!

  8. @ Lachlan,

Thanks for getting back to me with the answer. School starts at age five here in America, but we call it kindergarten. When students are six, they start first grade, age seven they start second grade, and so forth.

Yes, we are having a great little conversation! Isn't blogging fun!

    Nice talking with you! :-)

    Best wishes,
    Mrs. Yollis

  9. Dear Miss McGeady and students,

The Indonesian garden looks really pretty. What kind of sickness can you get to sit on the bench? Does anybody get to go inside the Indonesian garden? Is it kind of like meditating and being quiet?

    Sincerely,
    Jollene :)

  10. Dear Miss McGeadys' class,

Your school's playground caught my eye. I was surprised when I saw the rock wall. Everyday I practice the monkey bars. Do you practice anything on your playground?

    From,
    Moraiya :)

  11. Dear 2km,

The rock wall looks fun because I am a good rock climber. : )
Your play areas also look fun because they are tall and big.

    From,
