  1. Dear Kayla,

What a fabulous lunch! I know because I smelled the delicious rice when I was taking the picture. To be honest, I wanted to pick up the spoon and scoop a mouthful of your seasoned rice! :-)

The oranges not only look juicy, but I noticed they are cut into equal parts! Does anyone know what fractions I'm talking about?

I'm curious, did you prepare the rice or did you buy it at a restaurant?

  2. Dear Kayla,

2KM and I thought your lunch sounded very interesting. We have a few questions!

    - what is Chavez?
    - what is crunchy fish? We have not had fish that is cruncy before!
    - what are onion rings? Are they chips? The students in 2KM thought they looked like some chips we have in Australia called Burger Rings.

We loved the way you started your narration with "greetings!"

Look forward to hearing from you,

    Your friend,

    Miss McGeady

  3. @ Mrs. Yollis,

Thanks for a very thoughtful comment!(Also known as a 2-point comment.)

During lunchtime, I was eating my rice with my crunchy fish, and I thought it was delicious!

My mom made the rice. So obviously, I didn't buy it from a store or a restaurant.

    @ Miss. McGeady,

Thanks for a great comment, too!

Here are your answers to your questions: Crunchy fish are just like normal fish, but instead of the outside of being soft, it's crunchy. Onion rings are chips, but they're round.

To be honest, I had to ask my mom what Chavez is, and last night, I just asked my mom what the ingredients were so I just wrote them down on a piece of paper and took it to school today. It is just like parsley and mint, a vegetable. In my opinion, I think they're delicious just like the rice I had for lunch.

    Sincerely,
    Kayla :)

P.S. By the way ,Mrs. Yollis, I ate four fourths of my oranges.
