  1. Dear Kate,

I must confess, your lunch makes my mouth water! It is 12:35 P.M. here, and I haven't eaten yet!

You mentioned that you have edamame in your lunch. What is that? Can you tell us a little bit about edamame? What does it taste like? Is it crunchy or soft?

    Thanks!

  2. Dear Mrs. Yollis,

Edaname is a soybean that comes in little pods. Sometimes when I go to a sushi restuarant, they serve edaname still in the pods. My mom buys it for me out of the pods so it is easier to eat. The beans are soft, yet firm and have a mild taste to them. My mom says that they are a good source of protein.

    From,
    Kate :-)
