  1. Dear Clancy,

A peanut butter sandwich is one of my favorites! I prefer the crunchy style peanut butter, but I know many kids really like the smooth. Maybe you just like your apples crunchy...Let me know your preference!
    :-)

    Sincerely,
    Mrs. Yollis

  2. Dear Clancy,

Peanut Butter is a staple at our house. My older son still eats a peanut butter and jelly sandwich almost every day! It is difficult at times though because many children have peanut allergies so we have to be very careful.

I was hoping you could tell me what Split Stix are, I've never heard of them.

    Sincerely,
    Mrs. Adler (Trent's Mom)

  3. @ Mrs Yollis, I prefer the smooth peanut butter and I do like crunchy apples.

@ Mrs Adler, in Australia we call jelly "jam" although we do not eat peanut butter and jam sandwiches!! I don't think it sounds too good and I don't know anyone who has tried it!
Split Stix is a bar made from rice bubbles (cereal) with chocolate on the bottom. Split Stix are delicious!

  4. Dear Clancy,

Thank you for a great response. I want to tell you and your friends that you should try a peanut butter and jam sandwich, it is a delicious combination. I don't want you to miss out on an American tradition.

Split Stix sound similar to our Rice Crispy treats made out of cereal and marshmellows. They too are quite yummy.

    Sincerely,
    Mrs. Adler

  5. Dear Mrs Adler,

We have decided we would like to try peanut butter and jelly (jam) sandwiches so next week Miss McGeady will buy some peanut butter, jam and bread and we will make some sandwiches! We sometimes call sandwiches "sangas" here in Australia. It is a slang word.
We will do a post next week after we try the peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.

    Your friends,
    2KM

  6. Dear 2KM,

Last night I was showing the Collaboration Corner to my mom and sister. They thought the site was wonderful. What they loved the most was that your class was willing to try one of our favorite sandwiches, peanut butter and jelly. Sometimes they are referred to as PB&Js. We had not heard of the slang word "sanga", and we think it sounds terrific!

Trent and his family are anxious to hear what you think of PB&Js.

    Sincerely,

    Mrs. Adler

  7. Dear Clancy,
I love your lunch, I have never had fruit ropes before. Do the fruit ropes come in different flavours. That peanut butter sandwich look's yummy. I love green grapes. I also love apples I have one every school day. Does your sister like them.
    Your lunch friend,
    Maddison.
