  1. Dear 2KM,

We are very excited to begin this project with all of you. Not only will it strengthen our reading and writing skills, but it will also be fun to learn about the similarities and differences between eating habits. Do students from other countries (or hemispheres) eat the same things?

It's also fun to think about time zones. It is lunch time here on Sunday in Los Angeles, but I think it is Monday breakfast time for you in Leopold! That's funny, no?

Looking forward to a delicious collaboration!

    Sincerely,
    Mrs. Yollis' class

  2. Dear 2KM,

I'm so excited to begin the project with you! I bet it's going to be so much fun.

It's so weird how we're from different hemispheres. Can't wait!

    Sincerely,
    Kayla

  3. Dear Mrs Yollis' class,
What are tangarines? My favourite healthy food is an apple. What is your favourite healthy food? We call bell peppers - capsicum in Australia. Have you walked to school yet? Do you have a canteen?
